ST. MARY'S HIGH SCHOOL IFITEDUNU 2022/2023 INVESTITURE
St. Mary’s High School Ifitedunu gathered today, 19th November 2023 for its Investiture event. The event started with a Holy mass which was celebrated by the Chancellor, Catholic Diocese of Awka, Very Reverend Fr. Dr. Ndubisi Charles. Giving his homily, he urged the students to discover their talents, nurture it for it to grow and put it into use thereby reaching their full potential. This emphasis aimed to foster a conducive educational environment for learning and personal growth. Each newly admitted student was adorned with the school uniform, symbolizing identity and unity within the school community. They took solemn oaths, pledging their commitment to uphold the values and principles of the school.
The School Manager, Reverend Fr. Dr. Ngana Ugochukwu expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the ceremony. He acknowledged the hard work of the teachers, especially the school’s assistant Manager Reverend Fr. Nwambu Kevin for his good works. The ceremony proceeded with the awarding of honors and presentation of gifts to outstanding students. The 2023/2024 Academic Session was declared opened by the Chancellor, Catholic Diocese of Awka, Very Reverend Fr. Dr. Ndubisi Charles with the theme ‘SUCCESS IS NOT MAGICAL” and Award of Excellence of the 2022/ 2023 academic session signage was unveiled displaying the pictures of the outstanding students. The Investiture Ceremony was concluded with a solemn inauguration of the students into the 2023/2024 Academic Session.
